"New" Stadium

Taiwanese Developer Yuan Ta described by Minister of Rural Development H.E. Ly Thuch as "A real friend of the government" has completed renovation work on the Olympic Stadium. With new seats and fresh paint complete with hi-tech score-board especially ordered from the United States, we now have a "new" stadium.

Tuol Kork Market Opens

The new market at Tuol Kork is now open. Not just the new stallholders, but people in the surrounding houses are cheering as well. "The place used to smell of garbage and rotten stuff, but now we have a new market," said a beaming Mr. Chan Thevy who has been staying in the area for more than 15 years. There are about 456 stalls in total and the design resembles the Psar Thmei - bright and very well ventilated.
